CNC Machinist

Job Summary Established Manufacturer is seeking a qualified CNC Machinist to join their dynamic manufacturing team. This permanent position is focused on setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high‑quality components in a safe and efficient environment. Responsibilities Operate and manage Fanuc CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling and other tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications to translate instructions into machine commands. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure compliance with requirements. Test machine operation periodically and perform routine maintenance, including repairing minor damages. Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company policies and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and proper job sequencing. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a CNC machinist or in a similar manufacturing role. Proficiency with Fanuc CNC and Fanuc software. Comprehensive knowledge of mill and lathe operations. Experience in machine programming and CNC machine operation. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings. Mechanical aptitude and good math skills. Attention to detail and results‑driven approach. Capacity to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or a related discipline is a plus. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
