A well-established Florida distributor is looking for a Controller ready to own the full finance function — not just maintain it. You'll train directly alongside a long-tenured Controller before taking the reins, with direct access to the CFO and owner from day one.

What you'll own:

Full month-end close, reconciliations & branch financial reporting

Multi-jurisdictional sales & use tax filings (Florida)

AP/AR oversight, cash flow & collections management

Annual compliance calendar (tangible taxes, licenses, certifications)

ERP-based accounting (SAP or comparable distribution system)

Payroll support & IRS/state regulatory research as needed

✅ You're a fit if you have:

5–10 years in accounting/finance

Background in wholesale distribution, construction supply, or any inventory/COGS-driven business. It's all about inventory. It's all about the product. It's all about the flow.

Hands-on sales tax compliance experience (multi-jurisdictional)

ERP experience in a distribution or product-based environment

A bachelor's in Accounting or Finance

A track record of staying — we need someone we can trust with the bank account

CPA or CMA (or working toward one)

Paylocity or similar payroll platform familiarity

AI/automation tools in an accounting context

Multi-branch experience
