As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting construction operations by performing various manual tasks and assisting skilled tradespeople on-site. Your responsibilities will involve physical labor, maintenance of equipment, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning debris, removing hazards, and erecting barriers or safety signs. Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and transport them to designated areas. Demolition Work: Assist in demolition activities by using hand tools and machinery to break down structures or remove debris. Digging and Excavation: Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth using shovels, picks, and other hand tools. Assistance to Tradespeople: Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and perform minor repairs on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Clean and organize work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a tidy and efficient workspace. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks as assigned based on project needs. Attention to Detail: Careful and thorough in performing tasks to ensure quality workmanship and safety. Work is performed outdoors at construction sites, involving exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions. Schedule may include overtime, weekends, and irregular hours based on project deadlines and requirements. This is a safety sensitive position, and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply.
