Quality Control Laboratory Technician

We are actively hiring a Quality Technician II for a leading pharmaceutical environment in Durham.
If you have hands-on experience in QC testing, environmental monitoring, and investigations , this is a great opportunity to grow within a GMP-regulated setting.
- Duration: 12-month contract (potential extension)
✅ What You’ll Do
- Perform QC laboratory testing (microbiology & analytical)
- Conduct environmental monitoring (air, water, surface)
- Handle investigations (deviations, CAPA, OOS)
- Execute tests like bioburden, sterility, endotoxin, TOC, Gram staining
- Manage samples, inventory, and documentation (GMP/LIMS)
- Support validation, equipment qualification, and product release
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry , or related field
- 2–3 years of pharma experience (required)
- Strong background in investigations + QC testing
- Experience in GMP-regulated environments
⭐ Nice to Have
- Experience with CAPA, change control, validation
- Exposure to manufacturing/sterilization environments
- Strong documentation and data integrity skills
