Job Description

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create tailored therapy approaches aimed at achieving their functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' physical skills, cognitive abilities, and independence in daily tasks
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to provide holistic, integrated care
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their family members on therapeutic practices to encourage ongoing progress at home
• Track and Document Patient Progress: Carefully observe clinical developments and adjust treatment as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes

Education

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
