Thrive Decatur is looking for an experienced, full-time veterinarian to join our team in Decatur, GA!

Thrive Decatur is a small-animal primary care practice serving dogs, cats, and the families who love them throughout Decatur and the surrounding Atlanta communities. Our hospital focuses on accessible, relationship-based veterinary care while giving doctors the tools and support they need to practice quality medicine.

Our team provides comprehensive general practice care, including wellness and preventive medicine, vaccinations, sick-patient care, routine diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery. With an established client base and a varied caseload, our doctors have the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients while continuing to strengthen their medical and surgical skills.

We are open Monday Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and closed Sunday.

Your Experience & Skills

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
• State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
• Previous experience practicing as a veterinarian in a general practice or similar clinical environment required
• Confidence managing medical cases independently while collaborating with colleagues when needed
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to creating an exceptional experience for clients, patients, and team members
