Atlassian Guard - Senior Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Guard Senior Technical Lead with 10 15 years of IT experience and strong expertise in Atlassian Cloud administration, security operations, identity and access management, governance, and SaaS security. The successful candidate will lead Atlassian Guard administration, security controls, technical support, audit monitoring, data protection, and enterprise integrations.

• Lead technical delivery and operational support for Atlassian Guard and Atlassian Cloud security capabilities
• Administer organization-level Atlassian Guard security policies for authentication, user security, external users, API tokens, data security, and audit monitoring
• Configure and maintain SSO, SAML, SCIM, managed accounts, groups, authentication policies, and user provisioning
• Manage user lifecycle, access reviews, least-privilege controls, role-based access, and external collaborator governance
• Support security controls across Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other Atlassian Cloud applications
• Configure and maintain data protection controls including classification, public link restrictions, export controls, DLP, and third-party application access
• Monitor audit logs, administrator activity, user activity, alerts, and security events
• Coordinate threat detection, sensitive data detection, investigation, remediation, and security incident response activities
• Support integrations with enterprise SIEM, SOC, ITSM, monitoring, identity, and reporting platforms
• Lead incident, service request, problem, change, and release activities related to Atlassian Guard
• Partner with security teams, Atlassian administrators, service owners, technical leads, and business stakeholders
• Guide administrators and support teams on Atlassian Cloud security best practices and governance
• Prepare technical design documents, SOPs, runbooks, policies, RCA documentation, audit evidence, release notes, and knowledge articles
• Identify opportunities to improve security posture, reduce operational risk, and strengthen access governance
• Lead technical reviews, escalations, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives

• 10 15 years of IT experience with strong experience in Atlassian Cloud administration, security operations, identity governance, or SaaS security
• Strong hands-on experience with Atlassian Guard, Atlassian Administration, Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian Cloud
• Strong understanding of enterprise IAM concepts including SSO, SAML, SCIM, user provisioning, managed accounts, groups, and authentication policies
• Experience with audit logs, security monitoring, access reviews, API token governance, user lifecycle management, and administration reporting
• Experience with data protection controls including DLP, data classification, public sharing controls, export restrictions, and third-party application governance
• Knowledge of threat detection, sensitive data alerts, security incident triage, remediation workflows, and SIEM integration
• Experience with ITIL processes including incident, service request, problem, change, release, and knowledge management
• Strong technical leadership, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
