This contract opportunity will allow you to provide Speech-Language Pathology services in a supportive school setting near Centreville, MD. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to starting)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience providing SLP services in a schools or pediatric setting
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to develop individualized treatment and intervention plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy sessions in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in and contribute to student support meetings, IEP meetings, and ongoing planning
