Quality Control (QC) Inspector

Quality Control Inspector Looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join a manufacturing team! If you have 3 to 5 years of experience inspecting manufactured parts, ability to read CAD drawings, and hands‑on knowledge of calibrating measurement gauges, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will be the ultimate gatekeeper of our standards—managing incoming materials, collaborating with production supervisors on live adjustments, and ensuring overall excellence from blueprint to final product. Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year Shift: First Work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM Education: High School Responsibilities Measure and verify incoming materials against engineering specifications, conduct thorough visual and measurement tests, and identify defects and contact suppliers regarding any unacceptable or rejected materials. Approve in‑process production by confirming specifications, conducting regular visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments promptly to the production supervisor. Inspect and approve internal and external products returned for rework, ensuring all final adjustments meet compliance standards. Document all inspection results accurately by completing reports and logs, and input quality data efficiently into the company’s Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system. Keep measurement equipment and gauges fully operational by following operating instructions, identifying malfunctions, and calling for necessary repairs. Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment by strictly following organizational standards, safety procedures, and legal regulations. Keep professional and technical knowledge up to date by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications. Contribute to the overall success of the quality department and organization by accomplishing related operational goals as needed.
