Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 3 years recent experience required License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS, NRP, CLC, Stable Must-Have: Must have experience in L&D, triage, and postpartum. Must be a seasoned traveler. Description: Position will float between units based on needs. On-call required, a maximum of once per pay period. Weekends are required, typically every other weekend. Expected ratios are 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, and 1:6. The facility comprises a critical access hospital with a total of 22 staffed beds. Scrubs can be worn in any color, and equipment will be provided. Charting is done using the Epic system. Patient populations include neonates, infants, and adults. Daily census averages 2 patients. The unit has 3 patient rooms. Staffing for the unit includes interdisciplinary support from various services. The RN will cover all areas of obstetrics including newborn care. Holiday coverage is required for both summer and winter holidays. All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility.
