Finance Manager, FP&A, Amazon B2B Payments, Lending and Cross Border

The FP&A leader is responsible for providing thought leadership for the various financial planning cycles, driving insights on business performance, and drive automation and process improvement opportunities.The FP&A leader will work closely with business leaders to drive conversations about performance, as well as make recommendations to improve profitability. This will include developing mechanisms to monitor and track team productivity, ensuring optimal discretionary spending, and adherence to financial targets. This role will liaise with a number of finance teams across Amazon Payments, so this leader should be able to work well with cross functional teams. The ideal candidate must have superior attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.About B2B Payments, Lending and Cross Border:Entering the business to business (B2B) market is one of Amazon’s most exciting growth opportunities and since launching in 2015, The B2B Payments team is focused on building tailored payment products that enable AB’s customers to enjoy a seamless purchasing experience. We are growing fast and require a talented finance professional to help us scale world-wide as we are launching a number of exciting new products and services.Key job responsibilities- Maintain, and improve, existing finance processes to ensure high degree of data integrity, and insightful analysis.- Presentation of findings and recommendations to Senior Business Leaders, and Consumer Payments Finance- Manage and develop scalable financial tools or reports that align, and simplify, monthly business reviews, annual planning, and forecasting processes- Assist in developing monthly/quarterly financial reporting (actual and forecast) and annual budgeting- Provide fact-based insights into variances and trendsBasic qualifications- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experiencePreferred qualification - 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience- MBA, or CPA- Knowledge of SQL/ETL- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
