Senior Construction Operations Lead - Data Centers

My client is building next-generation infrastructure to support the rapid growth of artificial intelligence. They acquire power, design and construct data centers, and operate the infrastructure through integrated hardware and software teams. With multiple gigawatt-scale sites being developed simultaneously, they are looking for a Senior Construction Operations Lead to establish the systems, operating rhythm and construction playbook required to deliver at unprecedented speed and scale. This is not a traditional construction management position. You will be expected to challenge established processes, remove unnecessary complexity and develop a repeatable model for delivering large-scale data center campuses. Responsibilities Maintain complete oversight of schedule, cost, quality and safety across the program. Establish the operating rhythm between general contractors, self-perform teams, design partners and internal stakeholders. Critically review Primavera P6 schedules, challenge unrealistic assumptions and identify risks before they affect the critical path. Hold general contractors and delivery partners accountable to aggressive project milestones. Anticipate and remove construction blockers before they impact site progress. Standardize construction processes across multiple sites so each successive project is delivered faster and more efficiently. Translate field lessons into repeatable construction standards and operating procedures. Drive constructability feedback into design, engineering and manufacturing. Support the development of modular, prefabricated and productized data center solutions. Make commercially and operationally sound decisions with incomplete information while taking ownership of the outcome. Required Experience Significant construction leadership experience across multiple large-scale industrial, mission-critical or infrastructure projects. A proven record of managing several complex construction sites or programs simultaneously. Strong experience overseeing general contractors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams. Full project accountability across schedule, budget, safety and quality. Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6 and critical-path scheduling. Experience challenging and recovering highly aggressive or delayed construction schedules. Evidence of turning project-level lessons into standards adopted across wider programs. Strong understanding of constructability, design coordination and field execution. Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-moving and high-intensity environment. Able to make decisive judgments without waiting for perfect information. Preferred Experience Hyperscale data centers or large mission-critical campuses. Semiconductor fabs or advanced manufacturing facilities. Gigawatt-scale power and infrastructure developments. Modular construction and prefabricated delivery. Design-build contracting.
