Bonham Solutions is a legal recruiting agency connecting law firms with top legal talent, and we're growing. The firm has built a strong track record of successful placements and lasting client relationships, and we're now expanding the team to keep up with demand. We've put structured systems and a hands-on training program in place to bring new team members up to speed quickly and set them up to succeed. This is a ground-floor opportunity to work directly alongside the founder, learn a proven process, and grow into a long-term career as the firm grows. Candidates must be based in the Wilmington, NC area. The role starts on a hybrid schedule during training and ramp-up, then moves to fully remote.

The Role

This is built to be a long-term position offering plenty of growth. You'll start focused on the candidate side of the legal search process: screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and moving people through to placement using the firm's established systems. As you grow, the role expands with you. That includes the opportunity to handle business development, full-cycle recruiting, and the opportunity to step into leadership as the team grows.

Outreach happens mainly through email, LinkedIn, and structured follow-up, with very limited cold calling. While experienced recruiters are welcome to apply, the firm is fully willing to train the right person. This is a strong fit for someone hard-working, motivated, and ready to build something long-term, with real flexibility, earning potential, and room to grow.

Responsibilities

• Screen and qualify candidates for active legal job openings
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and clients
• Communicate with candidates primarily by email and LinkedIn, with minimal cold calling
• Stay in regular contact with both candidates and employers throughout the process, keeping everyone informed and engaged from first conversation to start date
• Help negotiate offers between candidates and clients to get deals across the finish line
• Keep candidate records and progress current in the firm's CRM
• Work from established pipelines and proven systems to move qualified candidates through to placement

Qualifications

• Based within commuting distance of Wilmington, NC
• No prior recruiting experience required. Experienced candidates are welcome, but this is also a strong entry-level opportunity
• Hard-working, motivated, and looking to build a career, not just hold a job
• Confident communicating in writing and by phone
• Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new tools
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple candidates and searches at once
• A self-starter who takes initiative without needing to be micromanaged
• Personable and thrives in a small, fast-paced team

Compensation & Growth

• $40,000 base salary
• Uncapped commission, with projected first-year commission of $12,000–$30,000+ depending on performance
• Hybrid schedule during training and ramp-up, then opportunity for fully remote or remain hybrid

Start Date
