Key Responsibilities of the Senior Sous Chef: Assist the Head Chef in developing and refining menus that align with the brand’s vision, ensuring consistency, quality, and an exceptional dining experience for guests. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service, high food quality, and efficient workflows while maintaining a well-organized and disciplined environment. Support in training, mentoring, and motivating the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture that encourages creativity, skill development, and adherence to safety protocols Monitor stock levels, assist in supplier management, and implement cost-effective measures to control food costs while maintaining ingredient quality and minimizing waste. Ensure all kitchen operations adhere to strict food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times. Assist the Head Chef in scheduling, record-keeping, and operational planning to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen management and overall efficiency. If you have experience in the below too that would be advantageous: 3+ years’ experience in high-volume kitchen within a supervisory or leadership capacity position Worked to exact recipes/ingredients to specifications using both fresh and frozen ingredients.
