Step into an advanced imaging environment providing essential CT services to a diverse patient population in a hospital setting with 218 beds. This contract position plays a key role in delivering superior diagnostic imaging across all ages, ensuring accuracy, compassion, and safety during every scan.

Schedule:

• Midnight shift, 11:00pm 7:30am
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Required coverage every other weekend

Qualifications:

• ARRT RT (R)(CT) certification required
• Minimum of two years of CT experience, including strong IV skills
• Ability to obtain the West Virginia radiologic technologist license following interview and offer (support provided)
• Comfortable providing care to patients of all age groups
• Professionalism reflected in uniform compliance: black scrubs, uniform jacket (no hoodies)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to perform accurate imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Ensure safe and effective patient positioning for optimal results
• Prepare and administer IV contrast, adhering to safety protocols
• Communicate findings and cooperate with radiologists and referring providers
• Follow infection control and radiation safety guidelines
• Support the department's workflow and assist with process improvement initiatives
• Participate in specialized onboarding and departmental orientation provided by the lead technologist

Position Details:

• Stable shift schedule with block scheduling (no self-scheduling)
• Rotating weekend requirements; no holiday, call, or standby duties
• No floating between departments; dedicated CT position
• Departmental communication supported through email access

$2,614 - $2,765/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
