QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will be friendly, self-motivated, and mature with strong customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and the public. Must be a responsible and reliable person 18 yrs. or older. A high school degree or GED with some college coursework preferred. Requires strong computer skills, especially MS Word and Excel with the ability to learn our RecTrac Recreation Software. Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability are required. Previous cash handling experience preferred. Previous retail experience a plus. Possess general office skills including good phone etiquette, accurate typing, filing, copying, and general math skills. Ability to maintain discretion regarding confidential matters and/or information. The successful candidate must be able to project a professional appearance.

DUTIES

Under the direction and supervision of the Guest Services Coordinator, the PT Guest Services Representative is primarily responsible for providing quality customer service to anyone entering or calling the facility seeking information or assistance. Will accept and process registrations by enrolling people in various programs into the RecTrac Registration System, accept payments for fees and registrations, and process receipts and acknowledgments. Will provide clerical support to recreation staff and Facility Manager and perform other duties as assigned. This is an at-will position.
