divh2Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics (FM-OB)/h2pThe Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics provides comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan while also delivering obstetric services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum management. This role emphasizes continuity of care, preventive medicine, and collaborative obstetric practice within a multidisciplinary healthcare team./ppProvide full-scope outpatient primary care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients/ppDeliver prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care for obstetric patients/ppManage low- to moderate-risk pregnancies within scope of training and privileges/ppPerform vaginal deliveries and assist with obstetric procedures as credentialed/ppConduct well-woman exams, gynecologic care, and family planning services/ppDiagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions/ppOrder, interpret, and document diagnostic tests and imaging/ppCoordinate care with obstetrics, nursing, pediatrics, anesthesia, and specialty services/ppProvide patient education on pregnancy, childbirth, preventive care, and wellness/ppParticipate in call coverage for obstetric services as required/ppMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation/ppSupport quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives/ppOutpatient family medicine clinic with obstetric services/ppHospital-based labor and delivery coverage as part of OB responsibilities/ppSchedule may include clinic sessions, call shifts, and delivery coverage/ppPatients of all ages across the lifespan/ppObstetric patients with low-risk pregnancies/ppMD or DO from an accredited medical school/ppCompletion of an accredited Family Medicine residency with obstetric training/ppBoard certified or board eligible in Family Medicine/ppEligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the practicing state/ppDEA registration or eligibility/ppCurrent obstetric privileges or ability to obtain privileges/ppBroad clinical expertise in family medicine and obstetrics/ppStrong obstetric assessment and delivery skills/ppExcellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities/ppCommitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care/ppAbility to manage clinic-based and obstetric responsibilities effectively/ppPrimary care and labor and delivery settings/ppTeam-based, collaborative care model/ppEmphasis on continuity, maternal health, and comprehensive family care/p/div
