SECURITY SPECIALIST

Job TitleThe role involves comprehensive responsibilities across Information Systems, Personnel, Physical and Information Resources (IR) Security, Operations Security (OPSEC), Physical Security and Loss Prevention.Key duties include:Providing program management, security guidance, and expertise for SAP-related activities in the Secure Facility.Ensuring the effectiveness of administrative policy and procedures for the security and use of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) within the Department of the Navy (DoN) Cryptologic community.Functioning as the Special Security Officer (SSO) for all military, civil service, and contractor employees.Developing and presenting security awareness lectures and personnel security indoctrinations and debriefings.Creating procedures for investigations, information collection, interview techniques, and reporting policies.Formulating and coordinating the Command Security Awareness Training and Education (SATE) program.Providing annual security awareness refresher briefings and quarterly reading folders with up-to-date security information to command members.
