As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our business, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Your main objective will be to drive profitability and growth, while maintaining a positive and productive work environment for our team.Tailwind encourages Veterans and Military family members to apply!Area of responsibility include, but are not limited to:Monitor and control payroll and other expensesManage both Retail and Restaurant operationsAdhere to F&B budgetsDevelop and implement strategies to achieve business goals and objectivesCreate schedules utilizing forecasting and scheduling tools to provide maximum efficiency and labor savingsDirects food and beverage services organizational strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to functional strategic thinking and directionParticipate in weekly department head meetings & individual meetings as needed to meet business plan objectives and provide the appropriate communication and directionImplements food and beverage financial strategies by anticipating requirements, trends and variances; develops budgets and capital expenditure plans; develops action plans, measures and analyzes results, initiates corrective actions, minimizing the impact of variancesControls F&B supplies by meeting with sales representatives; negotiating prices and contracts; developing preferred supplier lists; reviewing and evaluating usage reports; analyzing variances; taking corrective actionsKeeps F&B equipment operating by enforcing adherence to operating instructionsMaintains safe, secure, legal and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing sanitation and quality of food and beverage preparation and service standards and proceduresMaintain the integrity of company proprietary information and protect company assetsAll other duties as assigned, planned or un-plannedQualifications/Skills:Knowledge of food and beverage industry trendsExperience in managing food costs and PL managementProven track record of driving business growth and profitabilityStrong leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsRequirements:2-5 years of General Manager experience requiredMust be able to pass a background checkMust have reliable transportationServSafeFood HandlersBenefits:PTOPaid trainingManagement bonus program401k with company matchingHealth, Dental and Vision offered to Full time employeesTailwind Concessions is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
