Job Description Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a part time Patient Care Assistant in our Surgical Services Unit. Key Responsibilities Assists in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides direct patient care and performs routine tasks as assigned. Consistently demonstrates caring and appropriate behavior when interacting with patients and families. Assists with wound and skin care, keeps unit and work areas stocked, and provides delegated nursing care activities as appropriate. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or one year experience as a nursing assistant. BLS Preferred Qualifications One year of pediatric experience Pay Range The pay range for this position is $25.71 - $36.30/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
