Job Responsibilities Your Daily Impact

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory assessments across various disciplinesincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and moreadhering to strict protocols.
• Evaluate results for validity, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute preventative care and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples as necessary for accurate testing.
• Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, secure working environment, complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Required Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) during the first year of employment.
• Keep certification up to date throughout your tenure.
