Responsibilities: Evaluate and assess patients to develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans Administer manual therapy techniques including joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and myofascial release Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional movement training Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Requirements: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program Active Michigan Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure Experience or strong interest in manual therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and patient assessment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and care teams Ability to manage a patient caseload efficiently in a fast-paced clinic setting APTA membership and manual therapy certifications (e.g., OCS, FAAOMPT) a plus About Us: Manual Physical Therapy Specialists is a trusted provider of outpatient physical therapy services in East Lansing, MI, known for delivering exceptional, hands-on care that gets patients back to doing what they love.
