If your purpose and passions align with ours, you’ll find a place to grow, do meaningful work and build a career you love in a community that feels like home. **FTE:** 1.0, **Shift:** Day, **Schedule:** M-F**This position includes a $7500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible Medical Assistants!****Position Summary**The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) is an integral part of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) office team working under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner. Work situations require performance of safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the MA-C. The MA-C has continuous contact with physicians, APPs, nurses, front office staff, patients and their families/caregivers.**Responsibilities:**Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include:* Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff* Interviewing patients* Obtaining vital signs* Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments* Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture* Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency* Relaying instructions/information to patients and their families/caregiversFulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned which may include:* Sending and receiving of patient medical records* Facilitating patient referrals* Preparing forms for patients**Requirements:*** Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)* Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred* Current BLS cerification**About Rockwood Clinic** MultiCare Rockwood Clinic is one of the region’s largest outpatient diagnostic and treatment centers, serving communities across eastern Washington, northern Idaho and western Montana.
