Candidates located within the Central (CT) and Eastern (ET) Time Zones are preferred.

Summary of the Role:

BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Project Manager to support our client’s technical projects and initiatives. This role will support the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of projects, with a focus on new site installations, site and facilities management, and technical/code reading.

The Senior Technical Project Manager will coordinate projects from initiation through implementation and operational transition, working closely with technical, operational, business, facilities, and vendor teams. This position requires strong project management capabilities combined with the ability to understand and work with technical project information.

The role will be responsible for coordinating schedules, resources, budgets, risks, vendors, and stakeholders while helping ensure projects remain aligned with business and operational requirements.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Project Management

• Lead technical projects from initiation through implementation and operational transition.
• Plan, coordinate, and support new site installation projects.
• Support project activities involving site and facilities management.
• Review and interpret technical codes and project documentation as part of project planning and execution.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of technical, operational, business, facilities, and vendor resources.
• Ensure projects are delivered within established scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Monitor project progress, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
• Facilitate project reviews, stakeholder meetings, and status updates.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate reporting tools and project metrics

Technology & Business Alignment

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Translate business requirements into actionable project and technology requirements.
• Evaluate project impacts, dependencies, risks, and organizational readiness.
• Coordinate with technical stakeholders regarding infrastructure and technology requirements associated with project delivery.
• Support technology modernization and process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate project activities associated with new site installations.
• Support site and facilities management throughout project planning and implementation.
• Coordinate technical, facilities, operational, and vendor resources involved in site-related projects.
• Review applicable technical documentation and codes associated with project requirements.
• Track site-related project schedules, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
• Support the transition of completed projects into ongoing operations.

Stakeholder & Client Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, vendors, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as an escalation point for project-related issues.
• Lead project communications, status reviews, governance meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations through clear and consistent communication and reporting.
• Coordinate vendors and external resources involved in project delivery.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Monitor project expenditures and financial performance.
• Support contract negotiations, amendments, Statements of Work (SOWs), vendor agreements, and procurement activities.
• Track project financial performance and resource utilization.
• Coordinate project staffing, resource allocation, workload balancing, and capacity planning.
• Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional and matrixed project teams.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and help remove barriers affecting project execution.
• Promote accountability and collaboration across project teams.

Operational Excellence

• Support project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Support PMO governance and portfolio management processes.
• Implement lessons learned and project improvement initiatives.
• Leverage reporting and data tools to support project decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, applicable regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations..

Main Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant project management experience, including experience managing technical projects.
• Experience with new site installations.
• Experience with site and facilities management.
• Experience with technical/code reading.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical, operational, business, facilities, and vendor teams.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, and customer relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, and related project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree (MBA, MIS, Information Technology, or related discipline).
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent).
• Experience in: IT Infrastructure, Cloud Computing, Networking, Telecommunications, Software Development, Enterprise Applications.
• Experience working with executive leadership and enterprise-level clients.
• Central (CT) and Eastern (ET) Time Zone candidates are preferred.
