What You'll Do As our HR Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting the employees of Premier Community Bank. Your responsibilities include: Responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll and general ledger entries following each payroll. Coordinate and assist with the onboarding process for new hires and organizing orientation day activities across departments. Manage benefits administration for new hires and assist with benefit changes for current employees including annual open enrollment. Assist with recruiting efforts by posting available employment positions, reviewing applications, and conducting phone interviews to fill vacant positions. Skills for Success To excel in this role, you'll need: High School diploma, or equivalent required; and three years of clerical or administrative experience in a highly complex work environment required. Associate's degree or equivalent is a plus. Must be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities quickly. Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and to interact and communicate with customers and employees of the bank. Must have a positive service-oriented attitude to our internal and external customers. Work requires attention to detail in composing and reviewing materials.
