Now Hiring: Property Manager

Fort Wayne, IN 46809 (Waynedale II Apartments & Supporting Properties)

Pay: $22.00/hour

Full-Time | Monday-Friday

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Property Manager to support Waynedale II Apartments and several nearby scattered-site communities throughout Fort Wayne. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with residents, managing daily property operations, and helping maintain a positive living environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and visitors
Manage daily office operations and resident inquiries
Accept rent payments and provide excellent customer service
Process and track maintenance work orders
Assist with leasing activities and resident communications
Maintain accurate property records and documentation
Support multiple smaller properties as needed throughout the Fort Wayne area
Ensure compliance with company policies and housing regulations

Preferred Qualifications

Previous property management experience required
Experience with affordable housing programs (Section 8, LIHTC, HUD, or similar) is a plus
Strong customer service and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office
Reliable transportation for travel between local properties

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling the day-to-day operations of a multifamily community, including resident traffic, rent collections, work order intake, and general administrative support. Candidates with affordable housing leasing or recertification experience are highly encouraged to apply.
