Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse – Long Term Care in Gallup, New Mexico. This travel assignment is for a 11-week contract at a skilled nursing setting. Start date 08/01/2026 with weekly pay in the range of $846 to $878 and guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift pattern is 12-hour days (3x12). Local candidates only. This is a travel - temporary assignment with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
- Monitor resident health status, record vitals, and report changes to the supervising RN
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and personal care
- Perform basic wound care, hygiene, and infection control practices
- Document care provided in the resident’s chart/EHR and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support care planning and safety

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico (in good standing)
- CPR/BLS certification (standard requirement for patient care roles)
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and provide compassionate, resident-centered care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to document accurately
- Legal right to work in the United States; local candidate preferred
