Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Cumming, Georgia Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Cumming, Georgia. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life in hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation settings. Job Details Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour days) Employment Type: Travel Location: Facility in Cumming, Georgia Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and goals. Implement treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and modalities. Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment safely. Assess progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care. Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and injury prevention. Maintain safe environment with infection control and safety protocols. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development. Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Essential Skills Critical thinking and service excellence. Strong written and verbal communication in English. Proficiency with PC and electronic medical record systems. Physical stamina to stand, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Ability to work with diverse personnel and maintain professionalism. Technical skill for fine manipulation and equipment handling. Capacity to cope with public interaction, meet deadlines under pressure, and handle irregular schedules. Visual acuity and effective communication. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
