Optimus Courier is a locally owned courier company based in Eagan, Minnesota. Our team is dedicated to safely and efficiently deliver packages throughout the Twin Cities area while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Job Description

Optimus Courier is a last-mile delivery service provider seeking hardworking, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individuals to join our growing team.

Our Delivery Drivers are responsible for making safe, timely commercial and residential deliveries throughout the greater Twin Cities area. Our goal is simple: to provide reliable service and ensure every package reaches the customer's door safely and on time.

We provide our drivers with comprehensive training, real-time support, reliable equipment, and the resources they need to succeed. Our team is here to support you throughout the day so you can focus on delivering excellent customer service and, most importantly, get home safely at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

NO CDL REQUIRED

NO MARIJUANA TESTING

MUST BE MINIMUM 21 YRS OF AGE

NO DELIVERY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

Duties & Responsibilities

• Report to work on time for each scheduled shift.
• Remain active and on your feet throughout your route.
• Get in and out of your delivery van approximately 150–200 times during the workday.
• Use a handheld device with GPS navigation to efficiently navigate to each delivery.
• Be available to work shifts of up to 10 hours.
• Safely operate our high-roof delivery vans in varying weather conditions.
• Follow all state and local speed limits and traffic laws.
• Take required meal breaks during your shift.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers while completing deliveries.

Basic Delivery Driver Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment no-THC drug test and background check.
• Must be able to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• No prior delivery-driving experience is required.

Schedule Requirements

• At least 1 weekend day must be included in your schedule (Saturday or Sunday)
• One available shift: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 10-hour shifts only
