Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) plays a crucial role by performing tests on samples of blood, urine, and other body fluids. You will help obtain vital information for the diagnosis and evaluation of patient medical status. You will engage in Performance Improvement activities to ensure continuous quality advances while promoting a respectful and supportive teamwork environment based on our facility’s long‑term mission and values. Your Key Responsibilities: Process specimens, ensuring proper identification and integrity. Perform laboratory tests on patient specimens, evaluate results, and input data into the Laboratory Information System. Conduct periodic quality control evaluations according to established protocols. Assist in evaluating new and modified procedures, reagents, and instruments as guided by the Section Coordinator. Troubleshoot instruments and laboratory processes as directed. Participate in departmental goals set by Laboratory leadership. What You Need: Associate degree; graduation from an accredited Medical Technician program. Preferred: Experience in a hospital laboratory setting.
