Summary:
The Kewa Pueblo Health Corporation (KPHC) is established for the purposes of carrying out the vision and mission of the Santo Domingo Health Center (SDHC). The MISSION of KPHC is: "ENSURING HEALTH & WELLNESS THROUGH EXCELLENCE IN HEALTHCARE WITH RESPECT FOR CULTURE" and the VISION OF KPHC is: "HEALTHY PEOPLE, HEALTHY COMMUNITY, and HEALTHY LIFESTYLE". Serves as the primary financial leader for KPHC, responsible for developing and managing the organization's strategic financial plan, annual operating budget, and capital budgets. Oversees all financial, accounting, and revenue cycle operations, including direct supervision of the Controller, Director of PRC, Director of Business Office, and Director of Patient Access/HIMS. Ensures compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and organizational policies and procedures while maintaining effective financial processes and operational oversight. Duties:
Provides executive leadership and oversight of all financial, accounting, revenue cycle, PRC, and patient access operations for KPHC and affiliated entities. Responsible for developing and implementing strategic financial plans, budgets, policies, internal controls, and performance metrics to ensure organizational fiscal health and regulatory compliance. Oversees financial reporting, audits, grants and Tribal 638 funding compliance, investment and retirement plans, revenue cycle management, and long-range financial forecasting. Serves as a key advisor to executive leadership and the Health Board on financial strategy, operational performance, and business development initiatives while ensuring effective departmental leadership, staff development, and collaboration across the organization. Qualifications:
Education: •Master's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or another related financial field. Experience: •Ten years of high-level professional healthcare finance or accounting experience in an ambulatory, hospital, or large medical group finance leadership role.•Prior experience working with Indian Health Services (IHS), a Tribe or Tribal Organization.
