Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Shift: 3-11

Excelcare at Wilmington is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. As a CNA, you’ll provide hands-on care and support to residents while helping maintain their comfort, dignity, and safety. CNA Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including meals, hydration, turning, repositioning, and ambulation

• Provide personal hygiene and comfort care

• Assist residents with feeding and nutritional supplements

• Monitor residents and report changes or concerns to nursing staff

• Document food and fluid intake and care provided

• Help maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident living areas

• Transport residents throughout the facility as needed

• Support nurses and other members of the care team with resident needs

• Follow facility policies, professional standards, and state and federal regulations

• Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times

CNA Qualifications

• Current CNA certification/license in the state of Delaware

• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a healthcare setting preferred

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to provide safe, respectful, and patient-centered care
