Machine Operator 1st Shift

Job Details Base pay starts at $19.00 per hour. 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm. Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations. Apply production techniques to produce high-quality building parts. Know and follow all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and around a manufacturing environment. Operate computerized equipment and material‑handling equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required. Mark part number, order number, and quantity on parts; attach identification tags so customers can locate correct parts. Use continuous improvement practices in the work area. Repeat material handling and sometimes awkward body positioning. Climb on and off equipment and ladders repeatedly. Work under varying and extreme conditions inside and outside (hot, cold, rain, shine). Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high‑production manufacturing environment. Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical data to select correct raw material or semi‑finished parts. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist. Must be at least 18 years of age.
