3rd Shift Material Handler

Forklift Operator

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing team on 3rd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies throughout the facility while supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts in a manufacturing environment.

Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials to designated locations.

Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and preventing damage.

Supply production lines with materials to maintain continuous operations.

Remove finished products from production areas and stage them for shipping or storage.

Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

Accurately complete inventory transactions using scanners or warehouse management systems.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.

Assist with general warehouse and manufacturing duties as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.

Current forklift certification is a plus; training may be provided.

Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Basic math and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

Full-time 3rd Shift. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
