Speech Therapist Position
Location: Mariano Lake Community School
Requirements
The Speech Therapist must have:
- Must provide a master's degree in Speech Therapist from an accredited institution.
- Must provide current State of New Mexico License/Certifications in Speech Therapist.
- Must provide key personnel's resume demonstrating experience as a special education teacher.
- Must provide a signed letter of commitment confirming availability upon approval by the BIE.
- Must successfully complete the required background investigation and security screening.
- Must provide experience of work similar in size and scope to this requirement.
Duties
Provide student related services as specified in the student's IEP.
Provide on-site Speech Therapy services.
Participate in all student IEP meetings in-person or virtually.
Provide therapy plans for review and alignment of services to be rendered.
Provide written reports for the Individual Education Plans.
Submit quarterly progress reports and service logs.
Complete full summative reports for reevaluations or evaluations.
Provide parent/guardian involvement and answer questions related to student services.
Provide monthly invoices and documentation of services rendered.
Train local ESS staff as needed upon request.
