Responsibilities Perform professional and restorative nursing services, including resident assessments, recording vital signs, and administering medications and treatments. Keep timely documentation of written reports and verbal reports to ensure quality care. Interact with the resident’s physician, pharmacist, and medical personnel as needed. Assist residents with activities of daily living as outlined in the Resident Care Plan (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility). Participate in and attend all required in‑service training and education sessions as scheduled. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Expected Hours Very active job requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. Lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and push up to 250 lbs. independently. Use proper body mechanics to assist residents in daily living. Long hours with frequent night and weekend work. Travel No travel is expected; occasional travel may be required for training, continuing education, emergency situations, and other company functions. Education and Experience Requirements Four‑year college or university degree desired. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid. Two years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. Ability to meet or exceed attendance and punctuality standards. Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment. Ability to understand and follow directions. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
