Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit to provide exceptional patient care to adults and geriatrics. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience and be committed to compliance and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient assessments and develop care plans tailored to adult and geriatric populations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems effectively to document and communicate patient information.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to unit protocols and policies.
• Float within scope to support other units as needed to ensure consistent staffing coverage.
• Provide care during night shifts on 12-hour schedules, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Georgia or a Compact State must be active at time of submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend and major holidays as required.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to electronic health records and unit-specific systems.
