Benefits 401(k) matching after first year Health insurance Vision insurance 17 PTO days Quarterly bonus Partnership track Book of business offer: receive a percentage paid for your existing book of business Responsibilities Represent clients in all phases of Civil Defense Litigation (Businesses, Public Entities and Individuals) Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs. Handle depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations. Develop and implement defense strategies, negotiate settlements, and make court appearances. Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive defense strategy. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and advice on legal matters. Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations. Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. A minimum of 8 years of experience for senior level positions Active member of the State Bar in good standing. Strong knowledge of civil defense litigation personal injury and or insurance defense procedures and practices. Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases while meeting strict deadlines. Ability to work independently, but also function effectively as part of a team. Strong advocacy skills in the courtroom. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
