Store Manager & Content Director

The TLB Boutique (Three Little Birds) — Hershey, PA

The TLB Boutique (also known as Three Little Birds) is a women's clothing boutique with three locations in Mechanicsburg, Hershey, and Lancaster, PA. We're woman-owned, small-business through and through, and we don't chase sales goals — success for us means a client who leaves happier than she arrived. We're looking for someone who can run our Hershey store the way we run all of them, client-first, and who also has a real eye for content — because this role owns our social media presence too.

This is a hybrid role: half store manager, half content director. You'll manage the day-to-day of the Hershey store, and you'll build out content for our active Instagram (@tlb.boutique) and grow our presence on TikTok. You won't be running Instagram alone in a vacuum — think of yourself as the director of TLB's content, pitching ideas and driving the calendar, while final creative sign-off stays with ownership.

You won't be doing this alone. Ownership is closely involved and supportive day to day, and you'll work alongside our other store managers and a team of part-timers — this is a team effort, not a solo act.

Store Manager Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations at the Hershey store: opening and closing, cash handling, and floor coverage

• Hire, train, and lead a team of stylists who put clients first — not sales numbers. We don't set sales goals for our team; we set a bar for how clients are treated

• Handle client issues, damages, and vendor/transfer problems directly and transparently, owning mistakes when they happen

• Track and report store sales performance to ownership

• Join monthly manager meetings with ownership and the other store managers on goals, staffing, and store initiatives

• Model TLB's values on the floor: sincere compliments (never a sales push), genuinely listening to each client, and finding a real connection with the people who walk in

Content Director Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day content plan for TLB's Instagram (@tlb.boutique, 11K+ followers, active multiple times a week) — reels, stories, and posts in the brand's warm, playful voice

• Grow TLB's presence on TikTok: strategy, filming, editing, and a consistent posting cadence

• Pitch content concepts and calendars to ownership; final creative decisions and approval stay with ownership

• Style and feature pieces from TLB's in-house lines, JoFlower and StraitLaced, alongside the wider assortment

• Watch what's actually resonating (engagement, reach, saves) and adjust the content approach from there

What You Bring

• Prior retail store management experience — comfortable owning hiring and daily operations for a small, independent business

• A real, demonstrable eye for social content: a portfolio, past reels, or an existing account you can point to

• Comfortable both filming/producing content and appearing in it

• A self-starter who can carry two different jobs — running a store and producing content — without either one slipping

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary starting at $45,000, based on experience
