This role requires a strategic leader who can balance sales performance, talent development, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Multi-Unit Retail Leadership Lead and support multiple retail store locations within an assigned district Manage and develop Store Managers and retail leadership teams Build a culture of accountability, performance, and employee engagement Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operations, sales execution, and customer experience Identify and develop future leaders through coaching and succession planning Sales Management & Revenue Growth Drive district-wide sales performance and exceed revenue goals Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives and growth plans Monitor key business metrics including: Revenue Conversion Rates Customer Acquisition Customer Retention Gross Profit Productivity Net Promoter Score (NPS) Analyze performance data and implement action plans to improve results Partner with Store Managers to maximize sales opportunities and operational efficiency Talent Development & Coaching Recruit, hire, train, and retain top-performing retail leaders Conduct performance evaluations and leadership coaching sessions Create development plans for Store Managers and emerging leaders Partner with Leadership and Training teams to implement sales training programs Foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement Retail Operations Management Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards Oversee inventory management, cash handling, merchandising, and store presentation Identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities Maintain consistency in execution across all district locations Ensure stores meet company standards for compliance, safety, and customer experience Customer Experience Leadership Champion a customer-first culture throughout the district Drive improvements in customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Scores (NPS) Support teams in resolving escalated customer concerns Ensure stores consistently deliver exceptional service experiences Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent leadership experience 5+ years of experience in: District Management Area Management Multi-Unit Retail Management Retail Operations Leadership Sales Management Proven track record of leading multiple locations and achieving sales goals Experience developing managers and high-performing teams Strong business acumen and analytical skills Experience managing KPIs, budgets, and operational performance Ability to travel throughout assigned territory Preferred Telecommunications Industry Experience Wireless Retail Experience Comcast Xfinity Experience Cable Industry Experience Consumer Electronics Retail Experience Commission-Based Sales Leadership Experience Ideal Candidate Backgrounds Retail District Management Area Management Regional Sales Management Multi-Unit Operations Wireless Retail Telecommunications Comcast Xfinity Verizon AT&T T-Mobile Spectrum Consumer Electronics Big Box Retail Specialty Retail Business Development Field Leadership What Success Looks Like The ideal District Manager is a hands-on leader who thrives on developing people, driving sales growth, improving operational performance, and building winning teams.
