Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Warrenton, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and self-sufficient Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Room (ER). The ideal candidate will perform all necessary ER tasks, ensuring positive experiences for patients and their families while adhering to operational metrics. Responsibilities will include patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy, IV, EKG, splinting, and wound care.
• Monitor and assess patients across the age spectrum.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system: Meditech.
• Support the supervision of patient care under the guidance of ER management.
• Participate in team-oriented care planning and implementation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced emergency environment is preferred.
