Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position located in a rural, critical access hospital setting. This role involves providing outpatient therapy services primarily to adult and geriatric populations, with flexibility to float between units as needed. The position offers a part-time schedule, generally 24 hours per week, with potential flexibility based on census and operational needs, and requires working mainly Monday through Friday.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 32 hours per week, generally Monday through Friday with some flexibility for Tuesday-Friday or Monday-Thursday.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in Physical Therapy, valid Washington state license, BLS certification, and experience with inpatient therapy.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic charting using Epic, previous work in acute or rural hospital settings, and familiarity with diverse patient diagnoses including orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and general deconditioning.
• Additional Information: Position is generally 0.6 FTE, working approximately 24 hours per week with a possibility of potential extension or increase in hours during high census periods. The role includes working with adaptive devices, gait training, patient education, care planning, and utilizing specialized equipment such as hoyer lifts and parallel bars. The facility supports interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory, social services, and radiology.
