Thoracic Surgeon OpportunityAs our Thoracic Surgeon, you will join our collegial team in Seattle at the award-winning Virginia Mason Medical Center. As part of our team, you will work alongside local and regional specialists, all dedicated to improving quality, enhancing patient experience, and advancing clinical standards for those we serve.Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the well-being of patients and their families.To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Thoracic Surgeon, possessing excellent surgical skills. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patientsDevelop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teamsProvide ongoing management and follow-up care for patientsOffer guidance and support to patients and families regarding educational resources and community servicesCollaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to careStay current with research and best practices in Thoracic Surgery to provide evidence-based careParticipate in community outreach and education initiativesWe are offering a starting bonus, and relocation assistance.
