Manual Lathe Machinist Requirements

Born for the shop floor. High school diploma or GED required; machining certification a plus. 5+ years of related experience in the manufacturing industry. Can read blueprints, follow specs, and measure twice before you cut once. Hands-on experience with machines and hand tools (lathes, grinders, etc.). Team player who shows up, stays focused, and works smart. Strong back, steady pace, and commitment to safety.
