We are seeking an experienced Large Die Finisher to join a precision manufacturing operation specializing in wire-drawing dies and tooling used in the wire and cable manufacturing industry. This is a highly skilled hands-on position focused on finishing, polishing, sizing, and inspecting large industrial dies to extremely precise specifications.

Large Die Finisher Details:

• Temporary position
• $15.29 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Saturday )

Read work orders, operate multiple machines in sequence, size, measure and clean dies. Pay on a sliding scale low $15.29-19.39 

• Finish and polish large wire-drawing dies to exact specifications
• Use precision hand tools, polishing equipment, microscopes, and other specialized equipment
• Work with materials such as tungsten carbide, polycrystalline diamond, and other hard materials
• Inspect die surfaces, dimensions, geometry, and overall quality
• Perform grinding, lapping, polishing, and sizing operations
• Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications Use precision measuring equipment to verify finished products

Large Die Finisher Qualifications:

• Previous experience in die finishing, tool & die, precision machining, grinding, polishing, or similar manufacturing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with very small tolerances and precision measurements
• Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring equipment
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions
• Excellent hand-eye coordination Willingness to learn specialized manufacturing processes

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
