MEDICAL INSURANCE AUTHORIZATION SPECIALIST

Valley Ear Nose and Throat Associates is looking for a Part-time Authorization Specialist to join our team in Saginaw, MI.

The Position

The Authorization Specialist will be responsible for the following:

• Obtaining surgical authorizations.
• Calling insurance companies to get patient deductible information.
• Calling patients to inform them of deductible amounts due before surgery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills are required. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work under pressure under deadline pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Must be able to work in a team environment while maintaining a sense of individual accountability.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
