Blue Origin is pioneering the future of space-based communications with TeraWave, a revolutionary satellite communications network designed to deliver symmetrical data speeds of up to 6 Tbps anywhere on Earth. This multi-orbit constellation will consist of optically interconnected satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) and medium Earth orbit (MEO), providing enterprise-grade connectivity for critical operations worldwide.***This role will be onsite in either the Bay Area-CA, San Diego-CA, Austin-TX, or Kent-WA. It is approved for a temporary remote work exception while specific sites are being developed.*****Key Responsibilities:*** Develop models and algorithm for the TeraWave Custom Silicon, This includes packet processing, MAC, PHY, Radio DSP* Drive for lowest power consumption and highest performance* Target your algorithms for FPGA and ASIC implementation,* Support the ASIC implementation thru Pre-silicon verification* Design advanced Digital end to end communication systems* Develop and model Channel impairments models* Work collaboratively with ASIC , RFIC and SW implementation teams* Work with the application team to Bring up prototype pre-silicon and support all post-silicon to validate your architecture performance**Basic Qualifications:*** 7+ years of experience in Signal processing or Modem design and development* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline* Experience with networking , modem MAC and PHY , DSP , RF and/or Mixed Signal designs* Experience with MATLAB, SystemC, C/C++ or other System level tools* Knowledge of DSP and communications systems including spread spectrum, forward error correction, and modulation types (OFDM, QPSK, QAM, PCM/FM, PAM)**Preferred Skills and Experience:*** Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field* Experience in full ASIC lifecycle (architecture, design, simulation, verification, validation, integration & test)* Experience with Software-Defined Radio Architectures, ADC/DAC, and/or DSPs* Familiarity with multirate Digital signal processing techniques* Experience mentoring junior engineers### Compensation Range for:CA applicants is $197,529.00 - $276,539.55WA applicants is $197,529.00 - $276,539.55**Other site ranges may differ****Culture Statement**Don’t meet all desired requirements?
