We make coffee, tea and water taste better and help people live happier, healthier and longer lives by making it easy to reduce sugar.This role is not a remote opportunity.Scope:The Sr. Driver Specialist will be responsible for transporting both raw materials and finished goods between Heartland facilities, vendor and customer locations.Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:Knowledge of local major and minor roadwaysProficient in operating a variety of types of Trucks and Industrialized TrucksAbility to effectively use maps and directions for efficient routingAbility to handle multiple tasks while navigating competing prioritiesMust work well in a team environment and have strong communication skillsAbility to interact with individuals at all organizational levels; conducts self in polite and professional mannerDemonstrates a motivation to provide fast, accurate and complete customer service at all times to all internal and external customersAbility to apply organizational skills when given a task with the ability to manage and prioritize timeUses resources effectively to generate solutions; takes initiative when resolving problemsMust possess critical thinking skills as well as thrive in an autonomous environmentAll other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentValid Class A CDL Driver's License with clean MVR and Driver CSA Score(s)Complete and current DOT PhysicalKnowledge of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations and DOT guidelinesMust have all Endorsements or the ability to obtain them within 3 months of hireMinimum 5 years of verifiable driving experience with a Tractor Trailer preferred, of which one year must be currentMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills and exhibit attention to detailMust have the ability to work extended hoursAbility to effectively use maps and directions for efficient routingPhysical Demands:Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motionsMust be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekendMust possess visual acuity to document company recordsLifting up to 50 pounds
