MRO Buyer

Role: The MRO Buyer manages procurement of maintenance, repair, and operational products and services for the Kenworth Division and PACCAR Corporate. Responsibilities: Prepare and issue purchase orders, coordinate approvals, and maintain supplier relationships. Support sourcing efforts, negotiate strategies to reduce costs, improve quality, and streamline processes. Collaborate with departments, monitor product quality, resolve invoice discrepancies, and generate financial reports. Utilize Business Intelligence tools for analysis and present findings to management. Qualifications & Skills: Associate's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field; minimum 3 years of purchasing or related experience. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, proficiency in PC tools, and ability to develop ROI analyses. Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills, with a results-driven work ethic. Key Duties: Manage supplier relationships, support cost-saving initiatives, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely procurement aligned with quality and schedule standards.
