– Greet patients and assist with rooming, including taking vital signs and collecting patient histories. – Support clinical procedures such as drawing blood and administering vaccines. – Manage scheduling, answer phones, and provide reception support to ensure smooth patient flow. – Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR). – Assist in clinical support tasks as needed to enhance patient care and improve operational efficiency. – Build and sustain a collaborative relationship with staff to uphold quality care standards in a busy clinic environment.

– Minimum of one year of medical assistant experience, including externship. – Proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. – Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. – Effective patient interaction abilities, ensuring respectful and compassionate care. – Strong computer skills to support clinical and administrative tasks.

– Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred. – Experience in occupational health is required. – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling 18-22 patients daily. – Comfort working with children aged 2 years old for acute visits and 12 years and older for well visits. – Schedule options include shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM on specified dates, with coverage available in September. – Previous experience in a similar primary care or outpatient setting is advantageous. – No specific security requirements; onsite parking available in a strip mall setting near a fitness center and pharmacy.
